Waldo Area Business Association is looking for people interested in joining the WABA Board

Committees meet monthly to discuss several different areas of operations in the Waldo Community. Currently, the Waldo Area Business Association operates the following committees: Ambassadors, Marketing, Property, and Security.

Your enthusiasm, creativity and commitment can help shape a healthier and more sustainable future for the planet we share. Platte Land Trust is seeking new members for our Board of Directors to achieve its vision of protecting land, natural resources, and open spaces in the northwestern Missouri and northeastern Kansas areas to benefit our local communities. This is a great way to have an immediate and long-lasting impact on your community while leveraging your talents, experience and passion.

The mission of the Women's Employment Network (WEN) is to help women raise their self-esteem and achieve economic independence through sustained employment.

Camps For Kids, a nonprofit working to ensure that Kansas City-area children have the opportunity to attend summer camp regardless of disability or financial disadvantage, seeks passionate people to join their Board. Social media experience would be a plus, but not a prerequisite. Join us and help share the wonders of camp.

KCRW is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit roller derby sports organization and one of the founding members of WFTDA. We have current openings on our Board, and seek members with a variety of skills & experience, particularly in the areas of legal, financial, real estate, and interpersonal expertise. Candidates must be committed to fostering cultural change to support our efforts to be anti-racist, trans-inclusive, and encouraging of interpersonal growth.
