Pay Range: $46,762–$52,654 annually

What You’ll Do

As the Specialist, Accounts Payable, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the museum’s financial integrity through timely and accurate processing of payments, credit card reconciliations, and vendor relations. You’ll use your attention to detail and organizational skills to uphold fiscal accountability and support day-to-day operations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing accounts payable using accounting software and systems

  • Handling invoices for multiple departments and vendors

  • Analyzing workflow processes and identifying efficiencies

  • Processing timely and accurate payments in compliance with policies

  • Comparing purchase orders, contracts, and terms of payment

  • Maintaining and reconciling financial records and ledgers

  • Building and maintaining relationships with internal teams and vendors


What You’ll Need

  • Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Knowledge of accounting, bookkeeping, and financial procedures

  • Prior experience in accounts payable or receivable preferred

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting platforms

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage confidential information with integrity

  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments
