TeamSmile Ambassador

TeamSmile seeks a full-time TeamSmile Ambassador that will handle a variety of duties in this unique and newly-created position that will report directly to the Executive Director.

The TeamSmile Ambassador will be a key employee that will have a special skill set, as this person will represent TeamSmile at programs and conventions, and at times, with the media.  As such, this person should be well-spoken and present himself/herself in a professional manner.  At the same time, this person should have an excellent work ethic and be willing to “roll the sleeves up” and “get the hands dirty” by being willing and able to help set-up and break-down TeamSmile programs.  This person will help, from time-to-time, to assist in the warehouse and help load the TeamSmile trailers.

Also, the TeamSmile Ambassador will research grant opportunities, write grants and handle grant reports.  Additionally, this person will work with our Communications & Development Director, as well as our videographer, to help tell personal TeamSmile stories, both in writing and through short video features.

Importantly, we are seeking a fun, positive person that helps to create an enjoyable yet productive culture.

The TeamSmile Ambassador should reside somewhere in the Kansas City vicinity to have regular access to the TeamSmile office/warehouse, yet this will be a hybrid position with flexibility to work from home or office, depending upon the daily needs of the position. This position provides medical, dental and vision benefits, as well as a Simple IRA company matching program. This role requires a good deal of travel for a portion of the TeamSmile programs and several conventions, and will include some physical labor with set-up, break-down and packing and unpacking the TeamSmile truck.

This role will provide the opportunity to work with an exciting team of people that have a passion for serving children throughout our country. This person will have the opportunity to travel throughout the country and visit stadiums and arenas, while serving at-risk children.
