About Us

We're a dynamic non-profit with a mission to empower youth and adults with developmental disabilities to pursue their best lives. Our focus is on job skills training, competitive employment, community inclusion and self-sufficiency. The Farmer's House positively impacts the lives of 650 individuals with developmental difference throughout the Greater Kansas City Community including Platte, Clay and Jackson counties in Missouri and Johnson and Wyandotte Counties in Kansas. Some of our services are provided in the context of social enterprises which include retail markets, catering and gardens.
