South Kansas City Serve & Lift Center - Receptionist

This is a volunteer receptionist opportunity at Catholic Charities of Kansas City - St. Joseph's south Kansas City Serve & Lift Center, located at 8001 Longview Road, Kansas City, MO 64134. In this volunteer assignment, you will be the first person our clients will see as they come through our doors, many who are coming to us in crisis. Your smiling faces help our clients feel welcomed and cared for. This role is the backbone of the agency! This initial interaction sets the tone for the remainder of our clients’ experience with Catholic Charities.

Shifts Available

Monday – Thursday – Both shifts available each day of the week. Our offices are closed on Fridays.

8:00 am – 12:00 pm

12:30 pm – 3:30 pm

 

Select the day/shift that works best for your schedule. Ideally, we would have volunteers to cover the above shifts but want to provide you the flexibility of 2-hour shifts if needed to fit your schedule.

 

Requirements

• Prior experience working with the public; customer service skills.


• Computer skills/experience.
