Position: Coordinator- Buildings and Grounds with Fleet Management Responsibilities

Overview:
The Whole Person is seeking a dedicated Buildings and Grounds Coordinator to join our team. This role involves hands-on maintenance and repair of building facilities, coordinating routine and preventive maintenance, and ensuring the cleanliness and appearance of our buildings and grounds. Additionally, the coordinator will manage the maintenance of our fleet of cars, buses, and vans, ensuring they are safe and operational.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and oversee maintenance and repair tasks for buildings and grounds.
  • Schedule and coordinate routine and preventive maintenance for building systems and fleet vehicles.
  • Maintain building and grounds cleanliness.
  • Supervise custodial and maintenance staff.
  • Coordinate maintenance of off-site parking lots.
  • Manage fleet maintenance, including scheduling repairs and tracking vehicle usage.
  • Participate in the safety and emergency response team.
  • Manage budgets for building and grounds operations and fleet maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in facilities and grounds management.
  • Experience in fleet management is a plus.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Hands-on maintenance skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certification in facilities management or a related field is preferred.
